Who Can Donate?

  • Age: 18 - 65 years old.
  • Weight: At least 45 kg (50 kg in some regions).
  • Health: Must be in good general health and feeling well.
  • Hemoglobin: Minimum 12.5 g/dL.
  • Frequency: Males every 3 months, Females every 4 months.

Myth vs Fact

Fact: Your body replaces the lost fluids within 24 hours and the red blood cells within a few weeks. It does not cause permanent weakness.

Fact: A sterile, new needle is used for each donation and gets discarded immediately. You cannot catch diseases from donating blood.
